Your final stop before returning to London is Bruges, this city hosts a beautiful square surrounded by gingerbread houses running alongside idyllic canals. Bruges is like a medieval fairytale!

    Travel from London to one of Europe's most popular cities. Thousands of people flock to Amsterdam every year, so our Essence of Europe trip had to start here. You will finally see what all the fuss is about! Amsterdam is often referred to as 'Venice of the North'. The capital is a city on everyone's bucket list and is adored by our customers. We believe that you need to visit the Dam at least once in your life. From those unconventional restaurants, local craft beers, to world-class museums, it's easy to see why people love it. Don't forget that this city has more bicycles than people, so you need to explore it in true Netherland's style.

  • Berlin
    You then travel to Berlin, a city in Europe often compared to New York, as it never sleeps! The locals here are known as the lotus-eaters of Germany as they love nothing more than a good time. Don't let this put you off! As this city is pulsating with museums, tasty beer, and an unimaginable history! It's safe to say that Berlin is a city loved by those planning their ultimate Europe trip. Remember that history will greet you at every corner, as Berlin once staged a revolution, headquartered by Nazis, bombed to bits, divided in two and then finally reunited.

  • Prague
    It's no secret that Prague is one of Europe's most magical, affordable and beautiful cities, a perfect addition to any interrail route. The 'City of a Thousand Spires' is an architectural gem, the city has been an important UNESCO World Heritage Site which attracts more and more tourists every year! The narrow streets open up onto fantastic squares which host to medieval-looking homes and historical buildings for you to explore! Start in the centre of the Old Town, home to the major sights and has been the city's main marketplace for a millennium. If you're planning to travel to Europe, have Prague on your list, which is why it's a stop on this trip!

  • Cologne
    Your Essence of Europe trip continues in Cologne, most of this city was destroyed during WW2, most of Germany has suffered at least once in the past! The colorful Old Town is wonderful to wander around, especially when you consider what it has survived. Relax with a beer by the river, and join the queue to photograph the picturesque houses near St Martin's Church. Much like the rest of Europe, Cologne is embracing the trend of specialty coffee, seek out those small businesses putting their mark on roasting high quality, delicious quality coffee!

  • Bruges
    You can't travel to Europe without stopping in Bruges! Our Essence of Europe trip ends in the city that some call an open-air museum, and to be honest, it's easy to understand why. The city centre is a UNESCO cultural heritage, masterpieces can be found all around town and a vibrant atmosphere exists 24/7! Feast your eyes on the beauty that surrounds you in this Belgian city. Simply wander in one of the many winding, small streets and go where your feet take you. We recommend that you visit the Magdalena Church, it's not your average house of God, but it has to be at the top of your list!

Your Interrail Pass

We provide you with an Interrail pass to cover all your rail journeys between each city throughout your trip. Your Interrail Pass is used along with any compulsory seat reservations required for your trip.

Compulsory Reservations

We include all compulsory seat reservations required during your trip. This means no pre-booking or making arrangements before you go. Simply use your Interrail Pass alongside the reservation we provide you with. Your reservations will be added to your app for ease of access.

Ferries & Buses

Some of the trips include buses and/or ferries between cities. These will also be included as part of your Interrailing Package.

Important

Eurostar: You don’t need to worry about planning your travel to Europe. This trip includes travel from London St Pancras on the morning of your departure. You will need to make arrangements to be at London St Pancras for 7am on the morning your trip begins. Later departure options are available on request.

This Package also includes return travel back to London St Pancras on the final day of your trip.

All our package prices are based on Youth Interrail Passes, so our clients who are over 26 years of age at the time of travel will be required to pay an extra £50.00 for an Adult Interrail Pass.

Miss a train? Got a problem? Fear not!! Each E-Travel Pack contains an emergency contact number enabling you to contact one of our team 24 hours a day 7 days a week. We are always at hand to ensure you are never alone and that any issues are resolved immediately. All our staff are fully trained and have immediate access to your trip itinerary so that you don’t spend too much time & money explaining who & where you are!!

 

The Association of Bonded Travel Organisers Trust Limited (ABTOT) provides financial protection under The Package Travel and Linked Travel Arrangements Regulations 2018 for Interrailingpackages Ltd Member ship number 5351, and in the event of their insolvency, protection is provided for:

 

  • Non-flight packages

 

ABTOT cover provides for a refund in the event you have not yet travelled or repatriation if transportation was included in your package.  Please note that bookings made outside the UK are only protected by ABTOT when purchased directly with Interrailingpackages Ltd.

Covid 19 Updates

Following the outbreak of Covid19 across Europe in 2020, Interrailingpackages added some additional provisions to ensure our clients are always kept safe:

 

  • Free Date Change up to 28 days before your departure should there be new concerns around any new Covid19 outbreak.

 

  • New E-Ticket & App Services: Get ALL your train reservations, tour tickets & other travel information documents added to your Interrailing App account free of charge so they can be accessed at the touch of your thumb and with little or physical contact.

 

  • Mobile Interrail Pass: From January 2021, you will be able to get your Interrail pass sent directly to your mobile phone meaning for the first time your Interrail adventure can be totally ticketless!
