  • Amsterdam

Often referred to as 'Venice of the North'. The capital of the Netherlands is a city on everyone's bucket list, and I think it's safe to say you need to visit the Dam at least once in your life! From unconventional restaurants, local craft beers to world-class museums, it's easy to see why it's at the top of everyone's list. Don't forget that this city has more bicycles than people, therefore the only way to explore is in true Netherlands style!
  • Berlin

Berlin, a city often compared to New York, as it never sleeps! The locals here are known as the lotus-eaters of Germany as they love nothing more than a good time. Don't let this put you off! As this city is pulsating with museums, tasty beer, and an unimaginable history! It's safe to say that Berlin is a city loved by those on a rail holiday across Europe. Remember that history will greet you at every corner, as Berlin once staged a revolution, headquartered by Nazis, bombed to bits, divided in two and then finally reunited.
  • Krakow

While the rest of the country was being blasted during WWII, Krakow emerged from the war largely unscathed. As a result the city is now home to a unique mix of the old and the new that you won’t find in any other Polish city. Kraków’s postcard-perfect old town comes complete with Europe’s largest medieval market square and even a fairy-tale castle overlooking the river. Architecturally it can easily match any European city arch for arch, spire for spire, monument for monument, gargoyle for gargoyle.
  • Bratislava

Bratislava is the small capital city of Slovakia and is by far one of the most underrated cities you will ever visit. The city benefits from a fantastic location in central Europe, which means you can easily access it on a day trip from a few different cities such as Vienna, Budapest, and Prague! The charming little city boasts amazing architecture and rich history. Here are a few reasons why you should consider adding a visit to Bratislava to your bucket list!
  • Salzburg

Travel to Austria to visit the beautiful Salzburg. A lot of people don't know much about this fantastic city, apart from the fact it was the backdrop for The Sound of Music. So, include Salzburg on an interrail route, you have to include a Sound of Music tour! Similar to Vienna, Salzburg is a Baroque city with architecture that will make you feel as if you're in a fairytale novel. A DIY tour of this city is a must as walking distances between attractions and establishments are short.
  • Munich

Munich is often overshadowed by Berlin and many people think of Munich as just the home of Oktoberfest. But in actual fact, there's so much to see and do in Bavaria's capital. Whether you just want to relax with some locally brewed beer or hear up-and-coming musicians at a festival, Munich has something for everyone! From the city's many brewhouses churning out signature beers and ales, there is an unbeatable atmosphere in a beer garden, especially during the summer months!
  • Paris

It's no secret that Paris is one of the most romantic European destinations and one of the most visited cities in the world. We had to end this Europe travel package here because there are endless reasons to visit Paris more than once in your lifetime. Not only is it a very beautiful and cultural city, it's very walkable and hosts great sights, and it has been a source of inspiration for many writers, artists, and filmmakers. In the words of Audrey Hepburn, 'Paris is always a good idea'. The cafe culture in Paris is second to none, which makes it a great stop for people watching!
